Amazing moments At The Italian Coast
The beauty and success of every trip is not only dependant on its destination but mostly on the journey in itself. The journey is made of all the encounters and the amazing moments that give every trip its charm.
During my last trip to Italy and more specifically to the Italian coast along with my sisters, we had many beautiful and spontaneous moments that made our trip even better!
First I would encourage you to check my complete Vlog where I detail all the Itinerary and the amazing moments we had during our trip. You can access it by clicking here: 5 amazing days on the Italian coast!
The Golden Wedding Anniversary
On our second night in Sorrento, we went to the rooftop of Tirrenia Hotel in which we were staying. Every Monday, an Italian singer comes at sunset and begins singing beautiful songs from around the world.
With a view towards the sea, the sunset, Vesuvius Volcano and Sorrento, the atmosphere was amazing!

Next to us, sat a couple, in their 80s drinking wine and listening calmly to the songs. We asked them if they wanted us to take their picture together and they said yes.
After getting to know them, we understood that they were here to celebrate their 50 years wedding anniversary. They flew all the way from the US for this reason.
It was pretty amazing to see a couple in their age, in love, traveling to another continent to celebrate their golden anniversary.
Traveling has no age, and age it’s just a number. What is inside a person’s heart is all that matters!
The Universal Positive Vibes
A big part of every trip consists of walking and wandering around small streets to get to know the city better.
While we were in Sorrento and Positano, we visited some amazing places. However, we had to walk a lot in order to better discover them. Once we were at the final point of our destination, we had one question in mind: “Should we walk all the distance back again to return to the main roads?”
This is where the magic of the universe began. The Marina Grande in Sorrento was amazing to visit. However, it took us about 30 minutes walk to arrive there after a long day at the beach. Once there, we visited the area and took some pictures and were wondering how to walk all the distance back to the main street especially that it was not a straight road, and we had to go all the way up.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a small bus arrives and stops at Marina Grande. We asked the driver for his destination and he said he could give us a lift to the main road so that we do not have to walk it! This was one of the biggest moment of happiness during this trip!
As we were so tired, this bus saved us from having to walk a long road up to Corso Italia.
The same thing happened with us while visiting Positano. As you know, the city is like a mountain. You have to descent to discover the beach. Logically, to go back to the main road, you’ll have to walk the same distance all the way up. While doing that, a bus also appeared in front of us and gave us a lift to where we wanted to go!
We were even so lucky finding places in the buses heading from Amalfi back to Sorrento as they were always full of people.
The universe stood at our side many times during this trip! Whenever we were exhausted, a lift suddenly appeared! These were one of the most amazing moments during our Italian trip!
Positive vibes and being with the right people AKA my sisters, always attract good things 😉
The Napoli Guide
It is always normal to ask for locals’ help whenever you are in a new city. You could be searching for a certain street or a restaurant.
What is special about Napoli, is that helps comes to you without asking!
There we were, in the middle of a big street, looking at the map, trying to figure out how to arrive at the historical center of the city. Suddenly, a man stands next to me and says: go straight from that street and then turn right!
I was shocked at first and wondered where was he sending us. “You want to go to the historical center, right?” he continued. We said “yes” and then he told us that all the tourists going to the center, stop here, at the same place searching for directions. This is why he got used to it and began coming up to people, giving directions, without them asking!
This is one of the beautiful aspects of Naples. It is amazing how people are sociable and helpful.
Thanks to this guy, we reached the center in about 5 minutes and began our tour there!
The Pizzeria Couple
As stated earlier, whenever you are in Naples, help, and advice come to you without asking.
It was noon and was walking along with my sisters in one of the narrow streets of the city heading to “Da Michele”, the pizzeria that everyone speaks about.
As we were walking, a man and his wife came towards us and asked where we were heading. I told the guy we were planning on going to “Da Michele”.
He instantly replied: “Da Michele is always full and you will not find any place to sit. I will give you the name of a better pizzeria. Go there, sit and eat the best pizza in town! It is called Trianon“
In order to convince me, he walked with us to his neighbors’ window, who lives on the ground floor and began talking to her from the street. It was very funny and strange at the same time, as she was inside her house, with open windows and doors talking to us, while we are standing on the street.
“Tell them that pizzeria Trianon is much better than Da Michele! “. She confirmed and as they were very convincing, we decided to head to Trianon. It was a good choice as the pizzeria was amazing and served delicious pizza.

It was so strange and yet so nice to run into this couple randomly, went up to their neighbor’s window just to reach a pizzeria and eat one of the best pizzas I ever had.
Moments like these kept on happening. Walking in Sorrento at night, with many artists all over the streets, singing and playing music is just amazing. The city didn’t cease to amaze us!
One night, we even decided not to go out and stay at the hotel. We filmed horror movies, AKA the ring, and played childhood games! We went years back in time this evening!
“It is not the destination that matters but the journey and the people you share it with!”
The Italian coast has been amazing. The people were beautiful and the sceneries breathtaking. Moreover, these amazing moments that we shared together made our trip a one to remember forever!
